In traditional marketing keyword placement and submitting your dental website to search engines was the thing to do, and sadly still is for most dental marketing companies.

I'm always amazed when I here the misconception that you simply visit each search engine and manually submit your website and they will index you.

In the perfect world, it would be that simple. Well, I have bad news...

Did you know that if you simply submit your website to Google it will be at least six months before they even look at your website? SIX MONTHS! You cannot afford to wait that long!

"Blacklisted" basically means Google doesn't like you anymore and won't rank your website anymore which is bad news for you.

Search Engine Marketing is truly a service that requires significant manpower and know how to accomplish.

That means if we have 1,000 dentists say "I want you to get me listed in Google!", we couldn't do it all at once.

If we are going to truly deliver results, we have to limit the number of dental websites that we can work with, and as I said before, there will only be a few lucky websites in each area that can join our team.

Now you may be thinking you have a lot of time to sit back and wait on this. Again, we are looking for action takers not couch potatoes.

Have you heard of MySpace or Facebook? Okay, that is a form of Social Networking. It's basically a casual place that you can keep tabs on all your friends, make new friends and better yet, they keep tabs on you.

Another very popular site is Digg. Anyone can Digg your web page or article and share it with the world...literally! If other Diggers like what they read, they can Digg it as well. The more Diggs you have the more popular your article becomes and the more visitors your website gets which, again, translates into more new patients!

Now there are hundreds of Social Networking sites on the internet and it would take forever to submit to all of them, but the good news is you don't have to.

Is it the best video you've ever seen? Not even close! Does it give our prospective patients a chance to get to know us a little bit before they come in for their first appointment? Yes!

Now, this was our first shoot and there will be many more to come, but we got the ball rolling and that's what counts. We took ACTION and we are now seeing the results. We are finding that about 30% of our visitors are watching the video.  That is fantastic!
